When we first met in July of 2012, Dr. Sassan Farjami entered my room, introduced himself and asked me a single perplexing question, “Mr. Mandolph, are you a man of faith?” I later learned he asked that question because several of his colleagues had just agreed on a dire prognosis regarding my future. Specifically, they predicted that if I was lucky, I’d live just long enough to see the beginning of 2013. These doctors also said that I’d likely never stand on my feet and walk again, however long I might live. And with these findings being agreed to by so many doctors, they said it would be a waste of time to even try to treat the end stage liquid cancer they’d just diagnosed.

While Dr. Farjami’s own views differed greatly from his colleagues, he did say that the cancer that barged its way into my life couldn't be cured. It wasn't his expectation that I would ever be free of cancer and he advised that it shouldn't be my expectation either. However what he didn’t know was I did have FAITH. In fact, I had a literal, God-given formula for APPLYING FAITH – 8 practical and reliable principles that I knew would produce the healing I desired at that moment. With that FAITH formula on my side, plus Dr. Farjami’s effort and expertise, I beat that cancer and the bodily paralysis it brought with it.

In the end, turning that cancer around only took one round of chemotherapy and one round of radiation therapy. Most impressive, I didn't have to endure a bone marrow transplant - the therapy doctors thought I'd need to endure to find any possible measure of relief. My recovery was so rapid and firm that it was called a "Miracle." Doctor Farjami repeatedly says that he can't take credit for it and 8 years into my survival, he felt compelled to reverse course and say that I was “Cured.” Today, with more than 13 years of survival behind me, his words continue to ring true. Even better, we proved to every one of his naysaying colleagues that there's something more powerful than their prognosis – the Creator and the FAITH formula He gave me.
